Install/Configure WordPress

Hello friends, in previous tutorial you learn how to install WAMPSERVER and Troubleshoot WAMPSERVER. In this tutorial I'll guide you how to Install/Configure WordPress.

For WP installation you have to create a database, so left click on your WAMPSERVER icon select phpMyAdmin

It will open a phpMyAdmin browser than log-in with username root, leave the password blank.

Now click on new to create a database

Put your database name and click on create.

Now extract you WordPress zip file in "www" path and rename your extracted folder.

open your browser with these URL "http://localhost/folder name" and hit enter

and follow the image instructions:

After this instruction next part is easy to understand, like put your website title and admin details.

Troubleshooting WAMPSERVER (MSVCR100.dll or vcruntime140.dll missing)

Troubleshooting WAMP

Hello friends, after installation if your WAMPSERVER will not work properly or if it will not turn into green than may be it has few problems.

Here I'll guide you about Troubleshooting of WAMPSERVER.

WAMPSERVER ICON DIDN'T TURN IN GREEN

In my previous blog I guide you "How to install WAMPSERVER on you local computer" now after installation, WAMPSERVER may be not work properly due to few errors,
Example:

1. "80" Port is busy
2. MSVCR100.dll
3. vcruntime140.dll

"80" Port is busy

If you have installed Skype and its running on your local computer than this message will appear because WAMPSERVER will conflict with Skype. 

WAMPSERVER need 2 service to run on local computer 1. Apache and 2. MySQL
Apache and Skype both use the same 80 port so this is the reason behind the error but don't worry its very easy to fixed, you have to open your Skype setting/option -- Advance -- Connection and 
uncheck the box that "Use port 80 and 443 as alternatives for incoming connections"

Now restart your Skype and WAMPSERVER.


MSVCR100.dll or vcruntime140.dll missing

Just This dll help to run Apache and it will comes when you install "Microsoft Visual C++ runtime"
for this error you need to install "Microsoft Visual C++", for installation you can google it or click on this link for direct download.

For Windows 32 :

For Windows 64 :
http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=13523

Apache will not run without this component.
